Geoff Kaye

DiscoverE
got up very early in Australia to meet us in the virtual room DiscoverE at 20.00 GMT on Tuesday 6 February.
Geoff is an optometrist and researcher at the University of Western Australia and has a special interest in children (and adults) with dyslexia.
He has developed this online classroom to bring specialist services to those people who live in remote areas.

We had a tremendous amout of fun, learnt a lot, asked lots of questions and interacted ourselves with the tools in this environment. All the ingredients for a great real-time event online!
For those unable to attend, the recording is available by clicking here:
In the second session on Saturday 10 Feburary at 01.00 GMT, we had even more fun!
Thanks to your warm and patient online presence, all participants learnt yet more about the possibilites of the whiteboard, how to use this with uploaded files, with the web browser and to annotate web pages and files. We also discussed audio settings and did some troubleshooting. Great session.
Thank you Geoff :-))
Please leave your comments after this live online session here. They are really appreciated :-)
